Locked down a public-facing Linux server: SSH key-only auth, UFW firewall rules, and fail2ban to block brute-force attempts. Live uptime/status monitoring via Uptime Kuma.
Deployed osTicket on a dedicated subdomain to replicate an MSP-style ticketing workflow — departments, help topics, SLA plans, and sample tickets worked through a full open-to-resolved lifecycle.
Built a domain environment in VirtualBox: Windows Server as Domain Controller, OUs, security groups, and Group Policy objects, with a full ticket-style troubleshooting scenario documented.
Designed a multi-VLAN office network with inter-VLAN routing, DHCP, and ACLs. Documented subnetting decisions and routing logic, then diagnosed a deliberately introduced misconfiguration.
Used Wireshark to capture and break down TCP handshakes, DNS resolution, and HTTP vs. HTTPS traffic against a self-hosted server — annotated at each layer of the OSI model.
